In order to create a whatsapp for business profile there are certain criteria.
You must have a mobile number registered with whatsapp which you want to convert into a \’business\’ number. You should also make sure that you have verified your phone number via a one-time-password (OTP). Whatsapp only allows Whatsapp for business accounts to be created using a mobile number which is registered and has been verified via OTP.

How to get started?

When creating the profile, remember to use your business or brand name, logo and tagline or slogan so that users can know more about your business.
Once you have completed all steps , you will be asked to configure the security settings before completing the process.
You will be able to choose from options like whether you want whatsapp notifications for status updates , whether it should be visible to everyone or just our friends or contacts etc. You can also select from other options like auto-download media, send broadcast lists only to those who request them etc.
You now have set up your profile and will be able to share the business number via broadcast list and even the QR Code that is generated by Whatsapp Business.
