How to customize your website with your lead’s name

Introducing the Builderall\’s new Customization Feature! You can now customize your website with your leads name. In this blog post, I will show you how to do it. The first thing we want to do is actually create a three page sales funnel. This is just a basic sales funnel I wanted to use to show you how to do this. So we have the opt-in page, the email confirmation page and the sales page.

What we want to do is add this auto tag on the email confirmation page and the sales page. The tag will only show on the next page after opting into the list so you can\’t put a tag on the email confirmation page and then the sales page on a double opt-in because it won\’t recognize the lead name. However, you can use a single opt in to add it to the sales page. I\’m going to actually show you both ways, so never fear.

Double Optin

The first thing we want to do is edit the email confirmation page. Here is where we want to put the auto tag. So, let\’s say \”Hey, Bridget Bartlett, just one more step to go!\”. To do that, we need to access the text editor. You will see, on the far right hand side, there\’s a tag symbol. Click the tag and then, when the window pops up, you\’ll see there are several different options. There are many tag options. For this option, we are going to choose the \”Lead Name\” tag and then \”Select\”. So now you see the auto tag has been added to our page. Once we get a lead, it will auto-populate with the lead name and will replace the tag with the lead\’s name.

Just one more step to go! Let\’s test it!

The first thing we need to do is republish our website to make sure the changes are active. Then we want to get the live link to the optin page. Anytime we do testing, we always want to use an incognito window. Once you open the new window, paste the link into the URL and type in your name and email into the form fields and click the submit button.

Once you are routed to the email confirmation page, you will see the lead name has been populated. How cool is that? This feature adds an extra step to increase engagement and interest.

Single Opt In

Now we want to test this for a single opt-in. The first thing we want to do is go to our email autoresponder and delete the subscriber that we just confirmed in our list. Alternatively you can use a different email.

Add the auto tag to the sales page where you want the lead name to appear.

Once you have added the tag, saved your changes and republished your website, it’s time to test! In an incognito window, enter the details like we did before. However, if you configured the form correctly, you will bypass the email confirmation page and go directly to the sales page.

Configure the form

To configure the email marketing form for single or double optin, this is a very simple process. This is actually a good opportunity to show you this because I get this question a lot from members of my group. Some get really confused on how to set this up and make sure that the form is going to the right pages.

To do that, we need to edit the page. Then left click on the form. When the submenu pops up, click on \”Set Link\”.

Here we want to choose the pages that we want them to go to after they submit their information.

For a double optin, they enter in their information and then they\’re going to go immediately to the email confirmation page where they will receive instruction to check their email and click the link to confirm their email and then be sent to the sales page.

For single optin, we want to choose the sales page for the “Subscribe Pending \’\’ and the “Subscribe Confirm” pages.

So now that you have step by step instructions to add your lead’s name to your website or sales funnel, you can get started today adding increased engagement and interest with this super simple feature we now have in Builderall!
